Animal Ashram’s founder Leesa Rowland hosted an exciting fundraiser in the heart of West Hollywood this past Monday. Celebrity chef Joey Santos opened his home and kitchen to a star studded vegan display of healthy bites. The evening was emceed by New York City’s event planner Hank Stampfl of Revel Rouge. Guests at this intimate cocktail soiree got to relax around a vintage piano while L.A.’s Laura Wiley tickled the keys and powerhouse vocalists Tiffany Brevard, Angel Bonilla, and Tate mesmerized all.

This gorgeous evening was celebrated with Lisa Gastineau, Britney Gastineau, Heather Holley, Nancy and Ron Hilton, Prince Mario Max Schaumburg-Lippe, Amanda Goodwin, Cindy Guyer, Brad and Connie Dinsmore, Maryam Morrison, Aron Abecassis, Juan Bravo, Literary Agent Alan Nevins, Czechoslovakian industrialist Heiress Marienka (Zsa Zsa) Wisniewskiand and Jordan Wakeland to name a few.

Our non-for-profit provides grants and funding to worthy organizations and individuals offering sanctuary to homeless and helpless animals of all species. Animal Ashram respects and promotes the oneness of life and the principles of Ahimsa. Our not-for-profit mission is to raise money for a variety of educational and public outreach programs, provide funding resources and raise awareness of equality of life among all living beings.

The Salt Queen Foundation & Animal Ashram

WALL STREET: On May 10th, we hosted a special VIP evening on behalf of THE SALT QUEEN FOUNDATION and ANIMAL ASHRAM, along with actress and animal activist LEESA ROWLAND. Guests including MARLA MAPLES, MALGOSIA GARNYS, DARIA BORISOVA and KURT MCVEY flocked to BETTINA WERNER’s one-of-a-kind Art loft in the luxury Philippe Starck Building, next to Hermes, in the vibrant Financial District across from the New York Stock Exchange to learn about and support these two incredible organizations, surrounded by some of Werner’s striking salt crystal paintings .

Bettina Werner's long time art collector, Celebrity Psychic Guide ROXANNE ELIZABETH USLEMAN conducted private divine mini-readings during the evening, all in the name of charity.

Until May 15, 30% of proceeds will benefit both organizations.

Join Us To Support 'Last Chance For Animals'

April 25, 2017 join Animal Ashram to support our dear friend Chris DeRose. Chris and I have been friends for since the early 1990. We immediatly bonded over our mutual goal of saving the lives of animals.  At the time we met he was starring in General Hospital.

"Chris is know for his one tactic that rocked the foundation of animal experimentation was a daring daytime break-in at UCLA’s Brain Research Institute, documented by a film crew that showed the shocking truth of animal “research.” This first ever live-action footage clearly demonstrated that animal rights activists do not fabricate laboratory horrors, as they had been accused of for years.
